rockefeller tree
I missed out on seeing it last year - so Leah found some time to take me on a tour of a bunch of the "must see" sites that I'd never seen. The tree/ice skating pond were beautiful - but the chocolate store nearby might've been slightly better. :)

The Cloisters
Leah and I headed up the Cloisters to see the Medieval art on Saturday.

There's this amazing candy store in Manhattan, Economy Candy... they have everything... and everything is delicious and cheap. I bought a bunch of nerds. Mmmm.

View from work when the rain cleared
not the view from where i'm sitting, on a less sunny day i'll post a shot of what i can see from where i am (since people have asked). thats the view from a vacant office about 10 feet away from me. the statue of liberty is there, dead center and a little towards the top - but you can barely make out liberty island. ah well.
